Powell MMA and Fitness (Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Wrestling)

Powell MMA and Fitness is a combat sports training facility located at 1213 York Street in Cincinnati, Ohio. The gym is owned and operated by head trainer Adam Powell, an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter and multi-time grappling champion. Grappling instruction is overseen by Isaiah Mojica, a first-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Alfredo Barum, while striking classes are led by head striking coach Kru Jon P. The facility provides training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, wrestling, and strength and conditioning. Class offerings feature general adult fundamentals, an active competition team, youth Jiu-Jitsu classes, and a women-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program instructed by Jen Leibel. Sessions focus on submission grappling leverage, takedown mechanics, heavy bag drilling, and sparring combinations. Powell MMA and Fitness hosts morning and evening classes throughout the work week and on weekends. Prospective practitioners can schedule an introductory trial class at no cost for either Jiu-Jitsu or kickboxing through the facility's online booking portal.
