The Forge House Grappling Co.

The Forge House Grappling Co. is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo academy located at 3008 5th Ave in Marion, Iowa. Founder, owner, and head coach Sean Tilson holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and brings years of experience in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo to the mat. The Marion school structures its classes by age group, offering a Littles program for children ages 5 to 7, a Youth program for ages 8 to 13, and an Adult program for students ages 14 and up. Training covers three distinct grappling styles: Gi Jiu-Jitsu in the traditional kimono focusing on grips, sweeps, and submissions, faster-paced No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu in shorts and a rash guard, and standing Judo classes focused on throws, trips, and takedowns. Weekly instruction combines youth and adult Judo sessions with alternating Gi and No-Gi classes and a Saturday combined Gi and No-Gi class.
